I recently passed the February 2026 bar exam, and IBIS BarPrep played a huge role in helping me get there. I would highly recommend using IBIS BarPrep in the final weeks leading up to the exam. Their approach during the last stretch really helped me structure my revision, improve my understanding of my mistakes, and focus on how to actually improve. I also saw a significant boost in my MBE performance thanks to their practice methods and feedback system. On top of that, their techniques for the MPT were especially helpful in improving my timing and organization, which made a real difference on exam day. I honestly wish I had discovered IBIS BarPrep earlier in my preparation.

IBIS is a phenomenal resource and rivals the big box style courses. Their focus on tutoring based essay and MCQ review gave me the confidence I needed to get a passing score in Florida: one of the hardest state bar exams in America. I was assigned Katya as a tutor by Alexis who is a program director at IBIS Katya was excellent in giving feedback, helping me create a tailored study approach and instilling in me the confidence to win. I do not usually leave Google reviews, but Andrew at IBIS Prep absolutely deserves this one. I was with another bar prep company before this and honestly felt like I was spinning my wheels and getting nowhere. Within the first week with Andrew, I already feel like I have a real command of Contracts for the Florida Bar in a way I never did before. Andrew is an absolute genius when it comes to this exam. The fact that he has passed the bar multiple times shows in how he teaches. He does not just throw information at you. He actually makes you understand the material, remember it, and know how to apply it when it matters. His tutoring is on a completely different level from anything else I have used. For the price, I got far more value from IBIS than I ever did with the big-name bar prep companies charging about the same, and James was awesome in working with me on the pricing and making the whole process and transaction easy and really made me feel like family from the first call. If you are serious about passing the Florida Bar, this is where you need to be. I do not hand out reviews often, but Andrew is the man.

As a first-generation law student, everything about law school and bar prep was new to me. I didn’t grow up around lawyers, so I didn’t always know what resources were out there or what other students were doing to prepare. When it came time to study for the Florida Bar, I relied only on my commercial bar prep course. I didn’t even realize that many students also work with private tutors to help them get through the exam. I learned that lesson the hard way. In July 2025, I missed passing the Florida Bar Exam by half a point. I had to retake the MBE portion and to be honest, getting that news was devastating. After the initial shock, I started asking questions. I realized that if I wanted a different result, I needed to do something different. I began researching bar tutors and speaking directly with students who had used them. That’s when I kept hearing about Ibis Prep. While many tutoring companies had mixed reviews, Ibis consistently stood out. The feedback I heard was overwhelmingly positive, so I decided to reach out. From the very first conversation, I knew I had found the right place. Dani at Ibis Prep was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She answered all my questions and walked me through the program. I ended up enrolling in the Essentials Course, the MBE Live Course, and their Bootcamp. I also had several one-on-one tutoring sessions with Andrew, the owner. Those sessions made a huge difference for me. Andrew helped break down topics I struggled with and, more importantly, taught me how to approach the exam strategically. During one of our sessions, Andrew said something that stuck with me: “I’m usually not the first person people reach out to, but I’m usually the last.” That really resonated with me. Looking back, I wish I had known about Ibis Prep before the July 2025 exam. I truly believe it would have made all the difference the first time around. One thing this experience taught me is that the bar exam is not just about memorizing the law. In my opinion, it’s 60% knowledge and 40% test-taking strategy. You can know the material, but if you don’t know how to approach the questions, the exam can still defeat you. Ibis Prep helped me build both. They strengthened my understanding of the law and gave me the tools to approach the exam with confidence. If I could leave you with one piece of advice, its this: Don’t just ask people who passed on their first try what they did. Also ask people who didn’t pass what they would do differently. There is a lot to learn from those experiences. For me, the biggest change I made was simple. I hired Ibis Prep. And if you’re preparing for the bar exam and want the best chance at success, I strongly recommend that you do the same. You won’t regret it!!!

I cannot say enough good things about SoFlo tutoring. They were so much more targeted and helpful for ACT prep than the official ACT prep course that my son took. When he did not gel with his first SoFlo tutor, they immediately switched him to one with whom he worked extremely well. He was able to raise his ACT score 5 points between the July and September tests, and I think that this was in large part due to the exceptional work that his tutor Kai did with him over five weeks to target his practice and prepare him to do his best on the test.

My son was tutored for a bit over 2 months before taking the SAT in 11th grade. He needed assistance with math. This was a worthwhile experience, as my son felt that he was absolutely more prepared for the test. The price per hour is more than fair and incremental hour billing is an outstanding option. I highly recommend SoFlo for your tutoring needs.

The absolute best SAT tutor in Fort Lauderdale and Plantation. SoFlo Tutors boosted my sons ACT score by 7 points. They were super patient and thorough always making sure my son understood the concepts. They also fit with my schedule and tutored my son at our at house so I didn’t have to drive him to a test prep place. Cuidado con ésta gente, nosotros nos fuimos de vaca a nuestro país sin cancelar el servicio, y ellos te siguen cargando automáticamente por semana el costo de la tutoría aunque no la haya tomado el niño. Y no son buenos para llamarte para saber la situación o el porque el niño no asiste a las tutorías que SÍ están cobrando. Ha Sido un problema que me regresen mi dinero. Y aunque ya cancelé el servicio me siguen cobrando.

No se lo recomiendo a ningún padre. Juntas a los niños pequeños con los grandes. Los grandes los golpean y la dueña solo da escusa, ninguna solución. Las tareas incompletas la mayoría de las veces . La dueña rápidamente después de plantearle los problemas ocurridos con las tareas y con otros niños mayores que golpean y empujan a los pequeños busco otro nino para que ocupara el lugar de mi niña y dijo que ya no podía seguir dando el servicio porque ya no tenía espacio . En fin lo que ha ocurrido con mi niña puede ocurrir con otros que como la mía no esté acostumbrada a golpes, empujones . Además que quien ayuda a hacer las tareas a los niños la mayoría de las veces son los hijos de la dueña que son adolescentes , no profesoras preparadas para enseñar . Lamento mucho haber escogido este sitio . Muy decepcionada con esta amarga experiencia . Jamás se buscaron soluciones solo excusas .

I started SAT tutoring after scoring an 1100 sophomore year. I’m midway through junior year now, and my score is a 1340. Carlos and his team are incredible.

I would highly recommend Gables Tutoring, especially for SAT tutoring. With Carlos’s help, my SAT score improved from 1280 to 1350!! With his help I was able to get the Florida Bright Futures scholarship! I cannot recommend him enough!

I can’t recommend Gables Tutoring enough! I started SAT tutoring with Carlos around a year ago and am still going every week. So far, my score has improved 130 points! We used Gables Tutoring for HSPT tutoring. My child often runs out of time when testing, so we wanted to make sure she had sufficient practice and learned time management for the test. I contemplated other companies that provide online tutoring formats, but the pandemic taught me that online learning is not as effective for my child. The in-person, small group tutoring from Gables Tutoring made all the difference. My child finished all parts of the test and found the actual test easier than the practices. We just learned she was accepted to her school and scored in the 96th percentile! We have Gables Tutoring to thank for that. I highly recommend Gables Tutoring for HSPT tutoring.

We can’t say enough good things about Mathnasium! Both as parents and on behalf of our son: we love this place. His math grades have skyrocketed, but the biggest win is that he actually loves math now. The instructors are amazing at making concepts click while keeping things engaging. We are so happy with Magnesium at Coconut Grove! Since starting in October, we’ve seen real progress in math, and our child feels much more confident. The teacher at school has praised the improvement, which is very encouraging. Classes are engaging and motivating, and we’ve noticed a boost in self-esteem and overall attitude toward learning. Mathnasium is a great place for kids to learn math but also have fun with other activities during their break. The staff are very nice and helpful as well. I would recommend coming if you want to get better at math and get a better grade academically.

The staff operates with a quiet, effortless precision. There’s no hovering and no rush. They seem to understand that the primary draw here is the atmosphere, and they respect that space, providing what you need exactly when you need it without breaking the spell.

We are so happy, since our daughter started Mathnasium we noticed a huge improvement in just a few weeks. It’s giving her the boost and fluency she needed. She goes 3 times per week and is always happy to go which is very surprising.

We started at Mathnasium in the Midtown area for my son in Pre-K. He was showing an interest in math. Due to him being so young, he started with private lessons. It’s amazing to see the individualized attention he’s received. His interest in math has grown and his abilities to know and quickly solve math problems is growing. We are so happy with this Mathnasium location and will continue to bring our son.

I worked with William at Target Tutoring for two years for both ACT prep and college counseling, and he completely changed the trajectory of my applications. My ACT went from a 22 to a 35, a jump I didn’t think was realistic when I started. Instead of just drilling practice tests, William taught me how to actually think through each section, and the score followed. On the college side he was just as valuable, helping me build a smart school list, sharpen my essays, and stay strategic when the process got overwhelming. I’m headed to Rice University in the fall, and I don’t think that happens without him. He’s patient, genuinely invested, and always made time when I needed it. If you want someone who treats your goals like his own and gets real results, William is it.

William is strict, but it comes from the care that he puts in. Attending his sessions and practicing with his material will put you in the position to achieve great AP/ACT scores. He is also at his office very frequently making him easy to reach. I would highly recommend William as he helped me a lot. That being said it is important to note that he can only help you if you put the effort in.

Highly recommend. William has been tutoring for years and knows the tests through and through. If you stick to his methods and strategies and do plenty of practice out of his classes, you will get the score you want.

William is a tutor that will push you and MAKE you get the scores you want and need on your standardized tests- and give you the tools to do so. He deeply cares about each student, and once enrolled in his classes, you can stop by his office at any time to use it as a quiet study space and to ask help on a number of subjects. William will help students with not only ACT/SAT, but has helped me with my college essays as well and my little brother with Spanish free of charge. Once you take his classes and join the “target tutoring family” he will do his best to make sure you succeed in all academic areas. Studied at SLC for a little over a year…it was transformational. I had tried many others before, but this is different. The teachers are excellent, especially Mercedes Minota.. Mercedes teaches and you don’t even realize you are learning….her style is seamless and fluid…its as if we are just having a conversation. Highly recommend.

Micaela is my teacher and she is absolutely excellent! I look forward to our sessions each week and growing and learning. She keeps our sessions dynamic and brings in different forms of media with videos, listening, reading and writing. I highly recommend her!
